Paramount Coaching Centre partners with Uttarakhand Police in ‘Ardhkumbh Mela’ 2016 Haridwar

New Delhi, 20th April, 2016: Paramount Coaching Centre a premier Coaching institute besides imparting quality coaching to students has actively been participating in various social welfare activities. Under the Corporate Social Responsibility policy Paramount Coaching Centre partnered with Uttarakhand Police in Ardh Kumbh Mela , haridwar,2016. This novel initiative not only aimed at facilitating  the pilgrims and their security ,but also provided support to police force on duty during the Ardh Kumbh mela.

Ardh kumbh Mela witness a huge footfall of about 50-70 million people. A seprate administration is set up by the government to manage the whole affair which involves dedicated and continuous efforts by our police forces. Paramount Coaching Centre joined hands with Uttarakhand Police in their effort to provide safe, successful, comfortable and smooth Ardhkumbh Mela 2016. . 
Paramount Coaching Centre along with Uttarakhand Police partnered in Safety Drive which included Mandatory instruction boards to all Hotels, ashrams, dharamshala, lodges and guest houses , Traffic instruction pocket diaries to all pilgrims visiting Mela and traffic guidance-direction and diversion Boards for smooth traffic movement .Glow sign Boards were put up by Paramount Coaching Centre on every sector Police Station Of Ardh Kumbh Mela.

 

Ardh Kumbh Mela 2016 began in January and shall conclude on 22^nd April. One can witness the efforts of Uttrakhand Police during Ardh Kumbh Mela. Freezing cold, rain and now scorching heat nothing has stopped them from performing their duty . Paramount Coaching Centre came forward to provide the Police force on duty few basic amenities which included  arrangements for hot water during winters , Safe & clean drinking water, emergency torches  and rain coats . Besides this, back bagswere provided to all on duty which had first aid kit, Torch , water bottle and refreshments for police staff.LED screens were also provided Paramount Coaching Centre.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Ganesh Martolia ,IG, Uttarakhand Police  said “We are thankful to Rajeev Saumitra , MD Paramount Coaching Centre for the CSR support extended to Uttarakhand Police during Ardh Kumbh Mela 2016. Stärkenn Sports extends support to the Sea Hawks in their attempt at the world’s most challenging triathlon

A new world record of ultra-distance triathlon achieved

Pune, 29^th February, 2016: In their long standing endeavour to promote cycling, Starkenn Sports Pvt Ltd extended their support to the Sea Hawks to help them complete the Endurothon Gateway Challenge. The awe-inspiring ultra-distance triathlon ever attempted in history, the challenge comprised of three continuous events, namely, swimming, cycling and running, in the same order. Conducted from 25^th - 27^th February, 2016, the challenge was successfully completed in 71 hours and 40 minutes.

Sea Hawks comprises of two international athletes- Wing Commander Paramvir Singh and retired Sgt. Gullupilli Narahari. Renowned sportsmen and passionate social campaigners, they are known for creating the world record in open water swimming and have been the first swimmers to swim down the entire stretch of river Ganga in support of the Clean Ganga Campaign.

Stärkenn Sports provided the team with two Giant Roam XR bicycles, one ride crew member and one backup vehicle. The cycling leg was a 400kms scenic ride which crossed the Ulhas River, Pandavallini Caves, Dwarka, Peth and trails the Old Mumbai road. Though the picturesque view of hills, open waters, green pastures and typical city experience, with temperatures over 35 degrees during daytime. The steep and winding roads in Western Ghats with elevations ranging from 14m to 624m added to the daunting nature of the ride.

Re-counting his experience, Wing Commander Mr. Paramvir Singh said, “We, the Sea Hawks, have always shared this strong passion for sports- the more challenging, the better. With the aim of supporting End Polio, we undertook the Endurothon Gateway challenge, which was one of the best as well as one of the most arduous experiences we’ve ever had. Starkenn has been relentlessly promoting the cycling culture in India and have been known in the market for their quality products. Our association with them proved to be more than fruitful and gave us the hope that we will continue having a long standing relationship.”

“The much awaited budget presented by Finance Minister, Mr Arun Jaitley shows immense promise.

A net investment of Rs 97, 000 crore in the road sector has been proposed and a total of nearly 10, 000 kms of national highway has been approved by the government. Wolfsburg/Geneva, 1 March 2016 – Volkswagen's reorientation continues. At the Geneva International Motor Show starting today the company is presenting two world premieres geared to the future of mobility: one a fascinating open-top T-Cross Breeze concept car, which marks the start of a broad SUV offensive. The other the new up!, which boasts a thrilling array of innovative features.

Following the BUDD-e at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Volkswagen is surprising visitors in Geneva too with a trendy concept car. The T-Cross Breeze is the most compact sports utility vehicle that there will be from Volkswagen. It is the first open-top SUV of its class and at the same time an affordable cabriolet with a raised seating position for perfect visibility. Just like the BUDD-e, the T-Cross Breeze also has a concept of vehicle controls featuring scarcely a single switch. Dr. Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management, explains: "2016 will be a year of new beginnings for Volkswagen. With the T-Cross we are providing a first look ahead to Volkswagen models to come.
